IHOP has  joined the growing number of restaurant chains offering kids-eat-free promotions this summer to combat slowing business.  Kids Eat Free Programs are a growing trend. 

Through Sept. 13, participating locations are offering one free Kids Meal with the purchase of an adult entrée from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Adding to that long list of accolades are two impressive recognitions in Zagat's recently released 2009 Fast-Food/Full-Service Chain Restaurants Survey -- voted No. 1 Best Breakfast and No. 2 Best Coffee among all of the full-service chain restaurants.

IHOP was cited most often as being the best breakfast restaurant among all of the full-service restaurant chains in the survey, including 20 casual dining and 10 family-dining restaurants. IHOP and its International House Roast Coffee were voted No. 2 for Best Coffee and was the highest ranked family-dining restaurant on the list. The survey was conducted among a national sample of 6,107 ZAGAT.com registered users.
