T.G.I. Friday's extended its Punt Challenge for the September 28 Monday night Dallas vs. Carolina football game at the most talked-about football stadium on earth featuring the world's largest high-definition:
If a punt hits the video board during the game, resulting in a replay, Friday's will reward football fans watching the game in the bar with FREE Crispy Green Bean Fries. Friday's original Punt Challenge for the first regular season game at the new stadium (Dallas vs. New York on September 20) went unmet.
"If you weren't one of the record 105,000 at the new stadium last Sunday, there were 600 other places you should have been: T.G.I. Friday's," said Andrew Jordan, senior vice president of marketing for T.G.I. Friday's. "Although no punt hit the video board, our bars were rocking during our football watching party and the Punt Challenge. We had so much fun we decided to extend the Punt Challenge for this coming Monday night's game. We invite you to watch the game at T.G.I. Friday's and if a punt hits the video board during the game, we'll give you free Crispy Green Bean Fries during our coast-to-coast watching party that night."
And for those pesky rules -- one order per party, valid the first time the punt hits the video board.
